Telepractice virtually connects you to an SLP in another location.  Telepractice services look very similar to in-person services.  In fact, research has shown few differences between telepractice and in-person treatment. Using an interactive video conferencing platform, we are able to see and talk to each other as if we were in the same room.  

 

Remote and virtual services are approved by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and have been used to evaluate and treat people of all ages.  If in person sessions are difficult for you to manage because of COVID 19 or other reasons, telepractice may be a great option for you.  Please note that telepractice is not the best mode of delivery for all clients.  A person's temperament or diagnosis may require the attunement and tactile support afforded with in-person services.  Please contact me to find out if telepractice the right fit for you!
